Ivy-leaf Speedwell's light lavender to pale blue flowers have white centers and are tiny (5–7 mm). Its flowers are solitary and grow from the axils of leaves, which are similar in shape and size to foliage leaves (though the upper are sometimes somewhat smaller). The leaves are pubescent and have petioles about the same length of the blades. The leaves are shallowly divided into usually five lobes (small teeth or crenations, like ivy) (sometimes 0–7 lobes). Its stems are pubescent to hairy.
Ivy-leaf Speedwell is an annual; it is native to Europe.
