Red Elderberry's leaves have 57 leaflets, each irregularly serrated.
Its flowers are white to yellowish and ill-scented.
Its fruits are bright red drupes containin 35 seeds.
Red Elderberry's stems, roots and foliage are poisonous, and the fruit can be toxic or cause nausea if eaten raw.
