Family: Fumariaceae (Fumitory family; sometimes subsumed into the Papaveraceae poppy family)

Mid-Atlantic bloom time: March - April (?) Mid-Atlantic fruit ripe: (Spring)

Incised Fumewort is an Asian native and was first discovered in the the New York area in 2005, where it probably escaped cultivation. Its seeds are dispersed by ants.
